Croquet has recently been added to our club activities and like Lawn Bowling it’s a game of skill and strategy rather than strength. It is a easier game to play in the cooler weather of late fall, winter and early spring. The game offers the same benefits and challenges of lawn bowling and is easy to learn and be proficient at.
The object of the game is to advance the balls around the lawn by hitting them with a mallet, scoring a point for each hoop made in the correct order and direction. Like Lawn Bowling there are many forms of the game. We have been playing a Golf Croquet which is played at several clubs in Victoria.
